- Code of Ethics - Enforcement of the code of professional standards to which all members are pledged is accomplished through training and assistance provided to Boards, Associations, and members. You can view the 2007 Code of Ethics here.
- Realtor® Image Promotion - National Association of Realtors®, Oregon Association of Realtors®, and local Associations continually work to promote the Realtor® image by informing the public about what Realtors® are and the value of their services.
- Publications - SBOR's ECHO publication is sent out to all members monthly to keep you informed. The ECHO contains news concerning real estate as well as a calendar of events so you have the latest news available. You will also receive the OAR Oregon Realtor® and NAR's Realtor® Magazine.
- Business Products and Services - On a selective basis, SBOR endorses products and services that can assist members in their individual businesses. Services range from discounts on automobile sales to custom E-mail addresses at reduced rate to its members.
- Mediation and Arbitration - Provided by Oregon Association of Realtors®.
- Political Affairs - Through seminars, programs, and committee efforts, SBOR/OAR/NAR stresses the importance of Realtor® involvement at all levels of politics and encourages grass roots involvement in the political process.
- Education - SBOR provides educational programs for members through a variety of educational offerings.
- Realtor® Trademark Protection - The term Realtor® is a registered collective membership trademark that may be used only by the real estate professionals who are members of the National Association of Realtors®. The term Realtor® distinguishes them from non-members and signifies their adherence to a strict Code of Ethics.
